WORKING

dOING time in Wood Mackenzie, not macdonles but mac-'kenzie'. After spending two stressful weeks in the company helping my Employer as his trusted assisant doing tiring work such as checking accounts, driving clients, receving calls, presentations , data entrythings that he himself can alone do but wishes to spend more time fliting outside and spending his tremendous amount of wealth. He leaves me in his office most of the time covering for him. Noticed i nv address him as 'boss' cause i believe no one is the boss of me. Yes im pround, and hopefully one day i will BE MY OWN Boss. Having another chance at working in the corporate worldi get to experiance alot of new things. Like how OLs and OMs book thier tables at Lau Pa Sat using Tissue paper packets..dotz.. soo inconsiderate. LOs means Office Ladies and OMs means office men.What do i think of these working people? Hmmm..to me the OLs are really very pretty , well dressed, lots of make up and they look sexybut they dun appeal to me (Most Chinese espically from Sg don't) .. i feel they are like quite spoiled.. alittle bit of sun shine cannot take it..must bring umbrella to cover thier heads.Omg, ladies!!You all have been in the office for 3/4 of your damn day..still need cover..tsk tsk. Really a lack of exposure to nature. Should a flood comes into the city area, i think all will just die away.
Now for the OMs ..what can i say..rich,arrogant and most of them are damn fat with bulging Beer Bellies. Very different from the guys in the west.Again these males lack the exposure of nature. It seems that thier mind is niehter thinking of how to climb the coporate leader or who should i fuck next.Lol, both parties in general really lack enjoyment, passion and life. I see my collegdes in my office, very robortic, work and work.Thier conversation is also all about workWorse still they slang AHHHH cause alot of Ang MoaS In my office. STOP SLANGING!!omg.. soo insincere, i dun understand why can;t they talk like normal singapoernsyes speak properly i know. bUT I really think they sound soo fake when having conversations with people from other countries.Even Americans in general don't slang when they talk to ppl from Britain or Canada. Tsk tsk.. i feel i complain alot about thembut really OMs and OLs are the bloodline of Singapore's Finnacial capbabilites, they all have different aspirations and goals..unlike aunties all around this nation, like to complain and complain..little bit of thing also complain , if suddenly Singapore start snowing due to changing weather partternsim not surprised that they (Aunties/Uncles) will start complaining to HDB to do somthing about it.-_-; Again im Saying about other ppl liao. Hiaz.. how about myself? I find myself damn lazy la, work little bit need to go toliet hide and rest (the toliet is very big and clean ok!)I also can;t communicate much with those rich ppl in my office ..why arh? I think there is a gap between them and me, maybe i not wearing Amarni or Prada oFFICE shirts or maybe they can smell myunderwear not from CK.. LOL..watever la.. lastly i found out im not a desk bond person. I need a challenging job. SOmthing that requires organising, keeping me on my toes , answering lot of callsmeeting my own clients. establishing contracts that kind ...well its 5.25pm.. i think i go toliet again..play abit of water and perfume and sneak out of the office and run home¬Rex out! PS: I got a pay raise of $1.50 more per hour due to my amazing presentation to the clients ;]

Daiko Mania

Wow.. i very very long nv blog or mention about my past CCA..SINGAPORE POLY DAIKO DRUM TEAM. Its been like 4 mths liao..and i can see the club is not dieing (As forecasted by some people, but rather growing in numbers.) Soo much ups and downs (Mostly ups) during my time there as a daiko player, i will nv forget the good times i had there and the determination to stay on for the FULL 3 years. Well i wish i could go back and see how they are doing , however i know my time there has ended and going back will just create awkward moments. Just as one generation takes over another.. i see the new generation has a lot of potential. But will the potential be tapped on ? Given that this new generation has lost alot of orginal tactics, skill and songs from the past, in Japanese Culture espically the time of those sumuria and ninjas, the newer generation always surpass the older one... however i don;t see that in this group, its seems the standard have been dropping drastically ever since Y.Zhong left. Well...no fears, the only person who can relive the standard of the past is none other then my good friend MZ. The only person among my Joniors who surpassed me in terms of skill and standards. His learns the songs fast, and able to predict the movements correctly.

Well, its really none of my business wheater what happens to them or not. Cause i have already passed on, or rather moving on to greater OR shitter things in life. Then why the Hell im i writing about them again? I ask myself that question..well maybe i have a few lessons left to teach them .. in order to survive in this CCA is one has to have the following

1) Passion, the love to perform, the love for big drums and power

2) Determination

3) Openess

Cho Sueng South.Korea

Soo today's blog post is about this guy from S.Korea. I been working at Mackenzi for the pass 4 days and suddenly this guy's news interested me. He killed 32 ppl at Virgina Tech unverisity ar Blacksberg. Well, since work was soooooo boring and stressfull, i took the opportunity to read every signal news that came up on him, where ,how , when he was born, what he did, why did he become like that and so on. Very interesting also..this guy kind of look like my friend alvin .. LOL... btw Alvin is my Yuhua friend ..not the lsf one.. mind u. OK..my thoughts about this guy..hmm.. i don;t know what went thru ur mind la dude, but you shouldnt do what u did. You killed inncocent ppl and then kill urself..one way ticket to hell for you la. Sorry to say, u didn;t let urself survive and repent if not u'll be in heaven liao..tsk tsk.. but i kind of feel sorry for him cause he must have suffered, he was alone, being persecuted as such..we asians know that espically in the west alot of persecution based on skin color,race and religion . Those ang mo espically thinking that they are high and mightier race. This is what you get for discrimination other ppl...dillusional/confused/upset killers. Mr. Cho even though what he did was really wrong, he did wake up America and those spoiled rich kids out there. The proud were humbled, the rich was stumbled. Thats what i think.... but one thing is..how come when it comes to American masscares they broadcast it until like very big deal like that, how about million upon millions of people from Africa,India and Asian cities who die everyday from these killings? How about the war in Iraq ? How many ppl were killed by Americans and no1 gives a damn..abit unfair yeah. Anyways.. politics is not my forte ..shouldnt dwell in things that im unclear about. Well, this entry abit special, soo here u go friends my model picture. Of course im not a gal, please look here ---> ... over here <--- is my friend * , yes * ..she was the one who inspired me to go for modeling. Anyways, i recently look thru her friendster and saw these photos. After i load her photos into my C drive strange things start to happen. Well the be more precise, good things started to happen. The modeling agency.. i mean my agency called me up for an assigment at Taka Ngee ann city go photo shoot for some mens wear. $150 le.. not bad hor ^_^ , next i recieved a letter from my school, and shocked as ever, i got the COM!!!! COM means certificate of merit ..AMEN. I can;t believe i got it. omg.. soo happy top 5% le..have to thank God and * blah ahahah.. soo i'll be closing my Poly life with a Bang during graduation. * must turn up hor.. lol .. ^_^V.. but like all things black and white. Bad news came on msn, some of my friends started to get NS letter liao. I soo upset to hear that .. hiaz.. y y y .. y must i suffer, why must i protect ppl who complain and complain, y must i serve this lame nation..arh.. that pisses me off. Think when i recieve it.. i'll enter into depression le.. damn sian la.. oh well..* arh i nv ask ur permission to upload these photos le. if u dun like sms straight away.then i can take it down ;], dun sue me.. i got no $$ lol... if u sue me..also can.. i just jump down and no more NS for me liao ~ rex out

Blessed Genes

Its soo god damned Diffcult to upload these pictures unto my blog. Arh. (Note to self: Im a technology moron) okok.. now back to the main topic, blessed genes. Last 3 days, i finally became a freelance model..that is to say, im currently empolyed under a certain agency and if got assigments will call me go down to shoot. Why did i go down? I keep asking myself this question. You think you very good looking meh.. self doubt, hiaz..but what the heck.. i when down to try anyway. Soo it was indeed good experience , one of the lady stylist scolded me for wearing such ugly clothes for the photo shoot.. my god..my pride was like broken. LOL..i mean my clothes doesn;t look that bad what... haiz..so i have to remind myself that this is a modeling agency, cannot anyhow where. So ok lor.. that bitch stylist , when into one of her many cupboard of clothes to pick one for me.

So then..the make up starts, i dun really like what she was doing to my face, put soo much powder, add water color also, toner, fake eye lashes, then use all sort of different brushes to paint my face. She did it roughly and without love.. i can sense it. With that done, i was ready for the shoot, soo i was urshered into this studio, where this young be-spec girl was ready with her trusty camera. She spoke in chinese saying stand here.. i took like 1.2 seconds to recognize the sentence.. then she said relax, right leg and left leg stand properly, dont bend your back all in chinese.. i must have took like over 10 seconds to register lol.. sad la my chinese, i kept saying huh?! and what!?.. it took her awhile to change her communication medium.. that is.. into pure nice english. Having said that, i remember her saying things like, smile, look at the camarer, stand properly, legs point to one angle, smile naturally please, don;t stand like monkey god, don't give me cheesy smile.. those kind of lame funny comments. Overall i enjoyed the experience ..the lessons i learnt is 1) Be confident 2) Wear Properly 3) Don't let others pull you down, if you think you look beautiful then you ARE beautiful. The reason why i went for the model shoot is beacuse i know i am blessed with good genes, i don;t care what other think liao, i just know im goodlooking to a certain extend ;p and Yes it is true that beauty comes ftom within , however i find that sentence too overated. Beauty does come from within lets say about 60% , but the 40% is outside looks such as 1st impression and stuff like that. Btw.. did i spell genes correctly? LOL.. anyways, im looking forward to my university letters from NUS,NTU and SMU.. i really hope all three will accpet me la. Plus i dun know whether im getting the COM thing. If so i will change course to tourism management blah.. tsk tsk. Hiaz.. soo much future lies ahead of me.. and here i am bragging about modeling .. hiaz..the real horror will begin once i enter NS. SIAN SIAN SIAN. Not funny lor, i think i can;t surivie in there le.. maybe i'll lose my mind, go nuts, enter into depression.. ARH GOD PLZ HELP ME!!!!!! If you put me among monsters, my own demon will come out, and i dun want that. Haiz.. why NS...T_T...

I love Rainy days

Roar!!!!.. This is the 1st sound that comes to mind when i see this icon. SMU means if any Singaporean Manage to get in that good for U! Yup.. why i say that le.. cause its the most diffcult private university to get in. Pretigous and well known some may say. I recently when for thier interview .. i tell you , its nuts. Firstly.. they gather us into one room. Then talk abit about how lucky we were to get the interview call..saying somthing like this " Well, guys just to let you all know how far you all have come, out of 12,000 applicants this year, only 2000 were choicen for the interview"..i was like -_-' .."then out of these 2000 only 697 places are avaliable..then i was like #_#!!!!" .. ok lor..i mean i was soooo LUCKY to get the interview might as well try as hard as possible to get in blah.

Then they urshered us into another room , this time seperating us into smaller groups. I was with AVEline heng arh! And we were given current affairs article to read. The article was about "STARBUCKs under hotwater- forbbien in forbbien city" Dont know i spell forbbien correctly not ? LOL... ya..back to the incident. Ok.. so we were given 10 mins to read ..soo i read lor. The people around me were nevourse.. i can tell..the compeitive tension was there. There was this gal from SAJC , this guy from malaysia dun know from which lame school, this guy finish army , another business guy from one company and this lame property agent.. omg.. i really hate him ..lol.. This agent.. talk alot of shit, have even start the interview ..talk soo much crap. like oh..my name is lamer ..am a property agent ,i earn $50,000 per mth, the goverment very bad force me to come SMU to apply..watever la dude.. and the worse most sickening sentence he ursher out of his property mouth is this " U guys apply for NUS and NTU right? I only apply for SMU , cause i think it the best university to get into" infront of the SMU admin people.. WTF.. HYPOCRITE!! He sickening behavoiur forced me to read the article more properly..lol.. ok soo.. i used the 10mins wisely.. 1st i come out with a stand. Which was.. i DO NOT agree that starbucks should be in operations in F.City. Beacuse
1) Is disrespectful , to the culture, the history and the citizens of China
2) Spoils the feeling, the atmosphere
Woah..only these two points.. i was like pondering what else to put in.. i called my cousin some more..asking for more suggestions. But before she could give me more pointers.. the admin person called us into another room liao..too bad for me la.. Ok..BATTLE time..as we entered the room shaped like a semi-circle room with a round table right infront of us. The two professors were already sited. So ok lor.. i took the seat closest to the female professor cause maybe..just maybe i could charm her with my looks.. LOL..(JOKING!!) My friend aveline took the seat oppsite of me..wise gal..that property agent ..silly guy..took the seat furthest away...haha ok soo the war began.. the Indian professor started the conversation..so one by one he ask our opinons about starbucks..almost everyone was very agressive man.. they talked alot, rised thier hands, act eager to answer.. i knew i had to get a move and get my voice heard..soo i interupted , if i remember correctly these are the sentences i said " We have to take into consideration of the republican's feeling , by having a starbucks there it would invade the long history and the pride of the chinese" " Can you all imagin, a mac donales mini-stand selling ice cones right in the centre of our WWII monument?" " I have personally been to F.city, when i look around, i see the history, i see the power that once surrounded the place, the blood shed, the tragdey and drama that took place..and then suddenly i see starkbucks.. wouldnt that spoil the entire feeling"
Ya this is all i could remember la.. that property agent..i dun know wtf he talking about..cause his notion was that he agree to have starbucks la.. then he dun know talk about what being open minded, what american firm ..then link it to pounggol land size ...really NO LINK.. just look at my blog tile " I love rainy days" and try linking it to this entry..Really NO FCKING LINK RIGHT!!! thats what im trying to show.. then that malaysian boy ..like to slang. Slang until like some westerner like that.. amen to you dude.. you dun sound sincere at all in my opionon. Then that JC gal.. like to agree after some one made thier point etc: " Starbucks is an american firm..maybe thats the reason why the people of China dun like" JC gal: "Yeah i agree ..blah blah blah " Property agent : "But you all must think, the place is soo big, y would they bother about starbucks only, how about american express" JC gal : "Yeah i agree..blah blah blah" see what i mean.. after the entire interview i was like soo sick.. soo sick of ppl like that ..lol.. just too add on some more.. my friend aveline saw a glimpse of the our interview results..both were an A grade.. woah at least it give me some hope blah .. anyways i tried my best la.

Long time ago ( exactly 3 mths ago) everytime i pass by this unviersity i was like very eager to go in.. the Lion head motivated me to work hard for my POly results.. and it did no doubt. However after i got information that thier degree courses were like compulsory four year!! I was soo turned off.. i mean.. 4 years le.. by the time i come out i will be already 2$ years old.. Hiaz.. soo old by then sure genna mid life crisis. Well all i can say is.. i tired my best.. if i dun get in then so be it. I will be no regrets at all. If this is the path God has choosen for me ..then ok.. if not is also ok .. whats important is i have gained the experience of an SMU interview..and am grateful for that experience. Lastly to Aveline i really hope u get into SMU.May ur dreams come true BLAH!.~Rex out
